| To carry out peacetime service to America, including many programs on veterans' affairs and rehabilitation, children and youth, community service, and national security. |
| Supports the activities of the American Legion. Specific programs include Boys' State, national oratorical contest, American Legion baseball, scholarships, sponsorship of a Boy Scout troop and a Cub Scout pack, traditional Memorial Day Observance since 1947, and a children's safety program. Fund-raising activities to promote these programs include bingo, dances, and dinners throughout the year. A meeting room and social hall may be rented by contacting Lisa Hebb, Manager at the post or emailing post191mgr@verizon.net. Auxiliary members will provide food, if desired. Meetings are 8 pm the second Wednesday of each month, except July. |
